Flag proposal for Connecticut by FlagFreak, from Originally uploaded on 14 May 2007.

Original description:

"This Connecticut flag design is one I designed over a long period of time, but I still am not very comfortable with it. Anyway, the design has the United States jack (that's a national canton [that's the upper-left quarter of the flag] design). The nutmeg red represent the state's nickname, "The Nutmeg State". The special swallowtailed shape represents the nutmeg. The red, white, and blue, again, represents the United States."
